Day 2

We went fishing with Zack on the Kenai River refuge. Drew caught three trout and Zack caught two trout and a Sockeye salmon that was about to spawn. Jackson and I had a good time watching them. Jackson took a nap for ten hour of the trip.

We grabbed lunch and headed for Exit Glacier in Seward. The glacier has shrunk significantly over the years and little plants are now growing where the glacier used to be. The glacier appears blue from the minerals it has picked up along the way. All the water that is fed by a glacier is blue in color as well.

We stopped in Seward for dinner. We had King Crab and clams. It was some of the best seafood we had ever had!

Today, we are off fishing again.

P.S. I forgot to tell you that we saw two bald eagles on the river yesterday.
